汽車工業(yè)（信號燈設備、儀表盤等），醫(yī)藥行業(yè)（儲血容器等），工業(yè)應用（影碟、燈光散射器），電子產(chǎn)品的按鍵（特別是透明的）。日用消費品（飲料杯、文具等）。 PMMA溶于有機溶劑，如苯酚，苯甲醚等，通過旋涂可以形成良好的薄膜，具有良好的介電性能，可以作為有機場效應管（OFET）亦稱有機薄膜晶體管（OTFT）的介質(zhì)層。
注塑模工藝條件
干燥處理：PMMA具有吸濕性因此加工前的干燥處理是必須的。建議干燥條件 PMMA
為90℃、2~4小時。
熔化溫度：240~270℃。
模具溫度：35~70℃。
注射速度：中等
化學和物理特性PMMA具有優(yōu)良的光學特性及耐氣侯變化特性。白光的穿透性高達92%。
PMMA制品具有很低的雙折射，特別適合制作影碟等。PMMA具有室溫蠕變特性。隨著負荷加大、時間增長，可導致應力開裂現(xiàn)象。PMMA具有較好的抗沖擊特性。 由于PMMA表面硬度不高、易擦毛、抗沖擊性能低、成型流動性能差等缺點，PMMA的改性相繼出現(xiàn)。如甲基丙烯酸甲酯與苯乙烯、丁二烯的共聚，PMMA與PC的共混等。超級透明PMMA材料主要用于手機保護屏，該產(chǎn)品分為有硬化涂層，沒有硬化涂層兩種.其特點是透光率極好，沒有雜質(zhì)，靜電保護膜，表面硬化厚后硬度可達5-6H以上. 目前特別推薦用于硬化處理的PMMA材料，國內(nèi)稱為生板。
