SFAE電柜生產(chǎn)車間自2012年初開始采用MES-制造執(zhí)行系統(tǒng)進(jìn)行電柜生產(chǎn)管理，每年就可減少數(shù)十萬元的工時(shí)成本，大大提升了工作效率，邁向制造管理信息化的新步伐。
制造執(zhí)行系統(tǒng)（MES）是現(xiàn)代化車間生產(chǎn)的必經(jīng)之路。SFAE 電柜生產(chǎn)車間（CEPD）是一個(gè)集多個(gè)職能于一體的大部門。各團(tuán)隊(duì)之間信息的順暢溝通、特別是生產(chǎn)信息的收集和處理，是保證部門正常運(yùn)作的基礎(chǔ)。近幾年，隨著CEPD對管理的細(xì)化以及不斷的流程改進(jìn)和優(yōu)化，迫切需要一個(gè)更專業(yè)、更系統(tǒng)化的生產(chǎn)信息管理系統(tǒng)，以整合所有的生產(chǎn)流程和數(shù)據(jù)信息，實(shí)現(xiàn)對生產(chǎn)、質(zhì)量、追溯等的精細(xì)化管理。
經(jīng)過2年的研討和調(diào)研，CEPD先后找了多家軟件系統(tǒng)集成商，但是他們的方案都無法令人滿意。原因就在于SFAE是工程項(xiàng)目公司，并且其電柜制造是屬于離散型的制造行業(yè)，大部分產(chǎn)品均為非標(biāo)的定制化生產(chǎn)，如果想使用信息系統(tǒng)全面地、精細(xì)地進(jìn)行管理，這個(gè)系統(tǒng)不但要貼近生產(chǎn)制造的操作，而且要成熟可靠、功能齊全，更要結(jié)構(gòu)靈活、易于客制化，而現(xiàn)有的大部分系統(tǒng)都難以達(dá)到這些要求。但是在不斷尋找的過程中，我們了解到了有一種新興的管理系統(tǒng)可能正是我們需要的，那就是MES-制造執(zhí)行系統(tǒng)。
制造執(zhí)行系統(tǒng) (Manufacturing Execution System，簡稱MES）是美國AMR公司(Advanced Manufacturing Research，Inc．)在90年代初提出的，定義為“位于上層的計(jì)劃管理系統(tǒng)與底層的工業(yè)控制之間的面向車間層的管理信息系統(tǒng)”，它為操作人員/管理人員提供計(jì)劃的執(zhí)行、跟蹤以及所有資源(人、設(shè)備、物料、客戶需求等)的當(dāng)前狀態(tài)。根據(jù)MESA（制造執(zhí)行系統(tǒng)協(xié)會(huì)）的定義，MES是對從下達(dá)訂單到生產(chǎn)出最終成品的生產(chǎn)過程進(jìn)行優(yōu)化的信息系統(tǒng)。MES處于上接計(jì)劃（ERP），下接數(shù)據(jù)采集設(shè)備的執(zhí)行層面，在整個(gè)企業(yè)信息集成系統(tǒng)中承上啟下，是對計(jì)劃的執(zhí)行與實(shí)施，是生產(chǎn)活動(dòng)與管理活動(dòng)信息溝通的橋梁。MES采集從接受訂單到制成最終產(chǎn)品全過程的各種數(shù)據(jù)和狀態(tài)信息，目的在于優(yōu)化管理活動(dòng)，強(qiáng)調(diào)當(dāng)前視角，即精確的實(shí)時(shí)數(shù)據(jù)。雖然相對于SAP這樣的系統(tǒng)，MES還屬于比較新的概念，目前在制造行業(yè)應(yīng)用并不算廣泛，但是其前景很好。
