Belkaw GmbH的熱電聯(lián)產(chǎn)廠構(gòu)成了Bergisch-Gladbach全新住宅區(qū)內(nèi)可持續(xù)能源概念的核心。RheinEnergie AG已與Belkaw GmbH簽訂合同，負(fù)責(zé)地區(qū)集中供暖。而來(lái)自WAGO的全新GCM控制器則用于管理能源流。集成的調(diào)制解調(diào)器使其能夠便利地以遠(yuǎn)程方式控制和調(diào)節(jié)系統(tǒng)。
合理規(guī)劃獨(dú)立住宅、寬敞明亮的公寓樓以及其間風(fēng)景宜人的綠色花園。Bensberg地區(qū)（位于BergischGladbach南部）的這一原本不甚美觀的荒地已由Aachener Siedlungs- und Wohnungsgesellschaft mbH[坐落于Aachen 的房地產(chǎn)集團(tuán)]改造成相當(dāng)不錯(cuò)的住宅區(qū)。這項(xiàng)工程于2013年中期啟動(dòng)。在2015年春天，第一批居民搬入了由開(kāi)發(fā)商命名的“ Bensberger Freiheit”街區(qū)。
另一座新樓與住宅樓相隔幾米。被白灰墻和紅鋼門隔開(kāi)的世界是開(kāi)發(fā)過(guò)程的核心：Belkaw GmbH的熱電聯(lián)產(chǎn)廠(CHP)。它為整個(gè)地區(qū)提供區(qū)域供暖，并且早在首批承租人遷入Bensberger Freiheit街區(qū)前就開(kāi)始工作。不過(guò)，我們遺漏了一個(gè)決定性的細(xì)節(jié)：CHP與RheinEnergie控制中心的聯(lián)系?！斑h(yuǎn)程監(jiān)控已成為我們的日常工作”，RheinEnergie的維修技術(shù)人員Udo Hamacher說(shuō)道。RheinEnergie要求在他們所有的電廠都配備遠(yuǎn)動(dòng)控制器。這可為Hamacher及其同事提供整個(gè)供電區(qū)內(nèi)所有系統(tǒng)的概況。借此可以節(jié)省時(shí)間和成本，確?？s短停機(jī)時(shí)間。所關(guān)聯(lián)電廠的大多數(shù)數(shù)據(jù)都通過(guò)DSL線路傳送到控制中心。但這在BergischGladbach的新建CHP中卻無(wú)法實(shí)現(xiàn)。
